Munchkin has started doing wrestling. I was a little hesitant at first, but Munchkin has done awesome and loves it. And I must admit even though he is only five, it's pretty fun to watch him wrestle.

These were taken at his second wrestling tournament.

Munchkin and his friend from preschool last year.

All kids and coaches in his wrestling camp...we love Kevin, the coach on the far left.

After all the parents were done taking pictures, I went back up and told all the boys to show me their muscles. They thought it was so awesome.

Munchkin at his third wrestling tournament.

This was after he won his third match and...

got First Place!! He was super excited and so proud of himself. He also had his first pin and it was so awesome.

my oh my...

Quite a blustery day...

Luckily, none of these are from my yard. A few from my husband's parents and gparents, but everyone was ok.

Disney on Ice...

A few weeks ago, we took Munchkin to Disney on Ice. We had gone before, but it had been a few years so we decided to go again.

We went in, found our seats, then decided to look around at the super over-priced toys while Hubster parked the car. Once the show started, we hurried back to our seats a few rows from the top on the lower level.

Then Hubster asked the usher lady where his seat was, then found us and came to sit with us. The usher lady followed him to his seat and then asked us how many were in our party. Then she gave us tickets on the 4th row!! We were super grateful and it was so fun to be so close. And the fact that I only paid $11 for each of our tickets made it that much better.

Munchkin loved the Lion King and the Incredibles. I thought the Lion King was pretty sweet and liked the animals/Lost boys from Peter Pan.

happy 11.11.11

Hope your 11.11.11 is awesome.
And that your 11.11.11 at 11:11pm is super awesome.

awkward & awesome thursday...

Top: Munchkin's face paint from school, our stolen spider we put inside our neighbors house after they stole it from our roof. Chubbs relaxing after a tough night of trick-or-treating.
Middle: Items I found in our sub-woofer that Chubbs dropped in through the front. Chubbs trying out his car seat. Munchkin at his first wrestling meet (he did great!).
Bottom: Where I found Chubbs after I got him out of the bath and was grabbing him pajamas and a diaper. Tree on my walk from my car to my office. Chubbs in his new winter hat.

- Going to dinner with some buddies to celebrate a birthday of one of them...getting a reservation...then being sat...at two different tables. Oh thanks seating lady! We really wanted to sit at two different tables, not all together so we can all talk and catch up. Thank you.
- Our staff meeting at work. I can't even begin to explain, but if you want to know, just call me and I'll tell you.
- Walking towards someone along a really long sidewalk, then thinking, "When do I look up and make eye contact? Do I do it twice if I do it too soon? Do I pretend I didn't really see them the first time, but then if they see me as I'm looking away, then I look back again when I get closer and they don't look up am I being rude? Should I smile if I look up more than once?"

- Meeting Kaylee from the Biggest Loser, Season 11. Apparently she works at Texas Roadhouse close to where I live. I wanted to take a picture with her, but my sister said it was dorky, so I didn't. Sorry.
- Chubbs dancing and walking backwards. Seriously the cutest/funniest thing ever.
- Munchkin going to wrestling camp and a tournament. He did really well having never wrestled before and really having no idea what he was doing!
- Book club

This is halloween...

Or was a week ago.

We went to a neighbor's Halloween party. Guess who was the only adult who dressed up...yup. That would be me. At least a looked like a teenage boy...

My favorite comment came from 10-yr old neighbor Peter, "You look awesome. You don't even look like a girl."

Chubbs as a cute dinosaur...

Not just a ninja turtle, a muscly ninja turtle.

 Photo thanks to Munchkin

fall here we come...

A few weeks ago we went to a local pumpkin patch, and I was pretty impressed. It wasn't anything fancy or over the top. It was simple. Just cute and simple.
