Get a Battery...

I asked my husband to snap a few pictures of me for the blog...well, let's be honest here. He is really not that great. I love him and he has so many amazing qualities, but for the most part, taking pictures is certainly not one of them.
On my to do list this week...go to the store and get a battery for my camera remote so I have no one to blame but me for not so great pictures.

Sweater Dress: Cynthia Rowley via TJ MAXX ($7). Leggings (old). Belt: Borrowed from sister. Boots: BCBG via TJ MAXX (old).

As for the shopping ban, it hasn't been too bad so far. I bought this sweater a few days before it started for a whopping $7! I didn't try it on, so luckily it fit my ever expanding belly. I haven't really had any time to actually go shopping, so the temptation hasn't been there. I have noticed that I catch myself thinking when I can run to a store real quick and just look at some stuff on my way home, or during other errands, but then I remember in the next thought that I can't buy anything, so why go?

Here is to three weeks down and 49 more to go!

Winter Attire

Baby it's cold outside! Especially when I go to church on Sundays and wear a dress. I don't think my legs have or will see the light of day until May.

This is me around 24 weeks with baby boy #2.
Dress: H&M ($15). Sweater: NY&Co (old). Tights (old). Shoes: BCBG via TJ Maxx (old). Belt: H&M ($5). Earrings: Aldo ($5).

time flies...

My little boys are growing up! Chubbs is almost 17 months old and Munchkin will be six later this month. So crazy.

I took this top picture just over a year ago and this bottom one just the other day.
Some things never change, and some things do.

The other day I actually wore something cute to work and had the time to iron it. Ironing is a total deal breaker in deciding what I am going to wear for the day and 99% of the time, if it needs to be ironed it doesn't get worn for a while.

So Munckin took my picture, then insisted I take his...
Dress: Tulle ($7.50), Sweater: Old Navy (super old), Leggings: NY&Co (old). Boots: BDBG, TJ Maxx ($50).

His pose

He's gonna break some hearts one day.
Shirt: Ralph Lauren, TJ Maxx ($10). White Top: Old Navy ($5). Jeans: H&M ($14.95). Shoes: H&M ($10).

Then there is Chubbs who just wanted to hold the camera.

He was satisfied with taking a picture of himself then looking at it right after.

Santa and his Reindeer...

Hubster brought Chubbs to my work to visit Santa and his reindeer.
Chubbs l.o.v.e.d. the reindeer.
Good thing there was a gate around the reindeer or he probably would have tried to climb on their backs.

Chubbs - Hat: H&M ($5ish). Jacket: Columbia via TJ Maxx ($10). Shirt: Free via hand-me-down. Jeans: The Children's Place ($0 with coupons). Shoes: Vans ($35).
Me - Sweater: Kenzie via TJ Maxx ($25). Shirt: Shade (old). Jeans: American Eagle (super old). Shoes: Puma (super, super old).

Santa, however, was a totally different story. I wasn't able to get him to even let go of me when I tried to put him on Santa's lap.

Santa did however get him to give him the rock.
We will take it.

Happy 2012!

2012!! Can you believe it?!

I'm not entirely sure that this is the first post I want on my blog of the new year, but let's not be picky.

No, this isn't my favorite outfit.
Yes, my hair looks like a helmet.
Yes, I struggle with posing for outfit pictures.

Dress: D.I. ($6). Sweater: Express (old). Belt: DownEast ($3ish). Jewelry: Express, Aldo, The Limited. Shoes: BCBG ($40). Super white legs: $0.

I have loads of pictures I need to share, with our whirlwind of a December and all it's happenings.  This will come soon my friends. Soon.

The Party

I didn't get as great of pictures as I should have, but we sure had a good time.

The Birthday Boy

Some of the treats

Chubbs and one of the cute neighbor girls who just loves him.

Singing Happy Birthday!

Loving the cake

His pants got a little dirty after eating his cake. Plus his chubby legs are so cute!

Pulling the pinata to break it...much safer...and easier. And tricky me, tied up the string that pulled the bottom out in hopes that all the kids would get a turn and pull the long ones first.

Totally worked! We got down to the very last ribbon.

Hubster's sweet new blanket.

 Clever

THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all those friends and family who came, visited and spoiled my boys. THANK YOU!!

And a very unflattering picture of me...
Shirt: H&M ($5). Pants: Gap. Belt: Downeast ($5). Shoes: Express (free with coupon). Chubbs shirt: H&M ($7ish).
